The project "Role of microbial C, S, and N cycling in the fate of As in aquifers in the Vietnamese Mekong Delta"
Within the framework of the project "Role of microbial C, S, and N cycling in the fate of As in aquifers in the Vietnamese Mekong Delta", the experts from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, EPFL University – Switzerland (lead by Professor. Rizlan Bernier-Latmani) and CARE conducted various activities on the field in An Phu district, An Giang province such as groundwater sampling, well drilling, sediment sampling and geophysical investigation for thorough understanding the hydrological cycle and biogeochemical processes that may control the As in groundwaters. Additionally, the project also to educate PhD, Master and Bachelor students from the two universities. Based on the project, they can know how to do research and to gain more knowledge.
