The Scientific Council meeting of Centre of Water Research in Asia (CARE)

On 22/10/2015, CARE has organized the meeting of the Scientific Council with the chairmanship of Dr. Nicolas Gratiot - Director and Chairman of the Scientific Council, Assoc. Pro. Vo Le Phu (on behalf of Assoc. Pro. Nguyen Phuoc Dan - Deputy Chairman) and Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thong - Deputy Chairman with the participation of Prof. Luiz de Alencastro Fillippe from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL, Switzerland)
At the meeting, Dr. Nicolas Gratiot introduced the establishment, field of research and human resources in Vietnam as well as experts from the IRD (Institute for Research and Development) of CARE since it was established.
After the presentation of Dr. Nicolas Gratiot, the members include Prof. Fillippe Luiz de Alencastro from EPFL (Switzerland) as well as representatives from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Department of Civil Engineering and Faculty of Engineering and Petroleum Geology discussed together.
The end of the meeting, Dr. Nicolas Gratiot has guided the activities of CARE with the goal of PhD thesis per research action; one presentation per year in national or international conferences per research action; one publication in International Journal per two years; one project per year accepted from submissions to national and international calls for project and establish a park of operational analysis means with, in some areas, original, robust and cutting-edge tools.
