On May 9, 2026, CARE was pleased to welcome Prof. Yassine Lakhnech, President of Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA), together with Mr. Martin Oudart, Head of Office, during their visit to CARE.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to present the scientific activities and ongoing research projects conducted within the Centre of Asian Research on watEr (CARE), a joint initiative between Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), (tên đầy đủ) IRD, and Grenoble INP - Ense3, UGA.
The discussions also focused on education, training, and international collaboration. These exchanges play an important role in supporting young scientists and promoting interdisciplinary approaches to address major environmental challenges in the region.
The visit further strengthened the shared commitment of UGA, HCMUT, and CARE to continue developing long-term collaborations and expanding joint research initiatives in the coming years.
CARE sincerely thanks the UGA delegation for their visit, their interest in our activities, and the fruitful discussions throughout the morning.
