Scheduled from August 15 to August 31, 2023, the ASIAN CENTER FOR WATER RESEARCH (CARE-RESCIF) presents an instructional program titled "Exploring Proficiency in Advanced Interpretation of Electrical Resistivity Tomography." Guided by Dr. Marc Descloitres, the Scientific Director of CARE, this training initiative brings together an assembly of international participants, including students HENG Mouyyi, Jonathan Léonard VAN HANJA, and CHORK Vuthy.
The curriculum of the course revolves around the utilization of BERT software, an acronym for Boundless Electrical Resistivity Tomography. This software introduces an innovative method for analyzing tomography, particularly adept at addressing intricate geometry challenges. Through hands-on exercises and comprehensive software exploration, participants acquire pragmatic insights that surpass theoretical understanding. This equips them with problem-solving skills and astute decision-making abilities in real-world scenarios. Moreover, attendees gain proficiency in evaluating the efficacy of Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT) in complex geometric investigations, thereby enhancing their grasp of data interpretation utilizing this tomography technique.
