ASIAN CENTER FOR WATER RESEARCH (CARE-RESCIF) WELCOME THE DELEGATION OF FRENCH EMBASSY
On the morning of Thursday, February 23rd, 2023, the Asian Center for Water Research (CARE-RESCIF), along with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) - Vietnam National University - HCM City, had a reception and worked with a delegation from the French embassy. Visiting and working at CARE-RESCIF, the delegation from the French embassy included Mr. Dominique Laffly - Attaché for Scientific and University Cooperation of the French Embassy in Vietnam, Ms. Flora Canetti - Technology and Innovation Cooperation Officer of the French Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City and Ms. Nora Negadi. Welcoming the delegation, CARE-RESCIF was the presence of Dr. Ho Tuan Duc - Director of CARE Laboratory, Dr. Marc Descloitres - Scientific Director of CARE, Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang - Deputy Director, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Phuoc Dan, Dr. Tran Hai Yen, Assoc. Dao Thanh Son and MSc. Nguyen Phuong Thao.
The meeting discussed research and training cooperation opportunities in phase 2. During the meeting, Mr. Dominique Laffly emphasized the importance of innovation in sustainable development. At the same time, Ms. Flora Canetti highly appreciated the results achieved by CARE in the past 10 years and hopes that the embassy will have more activities to engage with the laboratory. The meeting took place and ended in a happy atmosphere.
