On November 25, 2023, the HCERES delegation undertook an insightful visit to the facilities of the Asian Water Research Center. The CARE Center's representative, Dr. Ho Tuan Duc, along with Director Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen Trang and their dedicated staff, cordially presented an overview of the center's remarkable endeavors spanning the decade from 2013 to 2023.
During the visit, the delegation had the privilege of exploring the various facets of the center's operations. Dr. Duc and his team meticulously showcased the center's exemplary activities, providing a comprehensive account of their achievements and contributions to water research. The presentation not only highlighted the accomplishments of the past decade but also underscored the center's ongoing commitment to advancing knowledge and addressing critical water-related challenges.
Furthermore, the delegation had the opportunity to delve into the center's state-of-the-art laboratory activities, witness experimental models in action, and acquaint themselves with the self-study spaces dedicated to interns. This hands-on experience allowed the visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the center's research methodologies and educational initiatives.
Overall, the visit served as a valuable exchange of insights, fostering collaboration and mutual understanding between the HCERES delegation and the Asian Water Research Center, as both entities strive towards the common goal of advancing water research and sustainability.
In 2017, Polytechnic University was one of the first four universities in Vietnam to meet HCERES accreditation standards. Enable check is valid for 5 years (2017-2022). Based on the comments/recommendations of the 2017 Evaluation Team, Polytechnic University has a plan to improve, upgrade and innovate the general activities of the University. According to the re-evaluation cycle, the Polytechnic University welcomed a delegation of the French High Council for Research Evaluation & Higher Education (HCERES) consisting of 7 experts to work on November 27-28/ 2023. In the first job, HCERES Group interviewed the Chairman of the School Council and the Board of Directors about vision, strategy, core values, university governance mechanism,... Next were the Interview leaders of units, students, alumni, graduate students, businesses, domestic and foreign academics; Visit the School's facilities and laboratories;... to comprehensively evaluate and record the improved points of the school in-house so that the inspection is determined in 2017.
