Objectives

CARE is to support and develop advanced methods, inventions and patents to encourage new technologies and practice in interdisciplinary, comprehensive and sustainable orientation.
Mobilize resources, especially scientific research, exchange for scientists of Vietnam, Southeast Asia and RESCIF in the field of water and environment.
Build and train a team of qualified Vietnamese scientists to solve science and technology missions in Vietnam in the field of water and environment, and further problems in South - East Asia and countries of RESCIF.
Scientific research: basic research and applied research through short-term research projects to quickly resolve the issues raised in reality.
Training: in coordination with other internal and external units of the HCMUT and RESCIF network, CARE helps train graduate students for Vietnamese and foreign students. The center also organizes short-term training or internships to improve practical skills in students, researchers and professionals working in companies as well as officials in state agencies.
Regarding technology transfer: publication and dissemination of research results and inventions derived from CARE, realization of scientific and technological services such as: consulting, design, analysis, monitoring, evaluation.
Intellectual property rights: IP register, organization, management and exploitation of intellectual property that the CARE owns or co-owner under the regulations of HCMUT and the law.
