In January 2026, CARE welcomed Ms. Maïa VENIER, Master’s student in Scientific Communication at Université Grenoble Alpes, for a six-month internship from January to July 2026.
Before specializing in scientific communication, she completed technical training in biotechnology and gained laboratory experience, including a period at the Forensic Science Laboratory of Lyon during her Bachelor’s degree in Biology. Her academic path later evolved toward combining science, creativity, and environmental issues, which led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Scientific Communication.
During her internship at CARE, she is involved in several outreach and education activities related to environmental challenges in Ho Chi Minh City. Her work includes the development of educational tools for young audiences, such as a card game designed for middle-school students addressing major urban issues including land subsidence, flooding, and water pollution, as well as a board game adapted for younger children.
She is also contributing to the preparation of a two-day CARE event scheduled for October 2026 within the framework of the FEF Fleuve project.
Through internships such as this, CARE continues to support international student mobility and to promote science communication activities related to water and environmental research.
