CARE is excited to share the outcomes of a seminar held on 14 January 2025.
Louis Songeur, a master’s student from Grenoble INP - Ense3, UGA, delivered a seminar titled: "Investigation of the Dynamics of Contaminants in the Hydro-System of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) by 1D Numerical Modeling", completed during his internship at CARE.
Over the past five months, Louis concentrated on hydraulic modeling and ADCP measurements conducted on the Saigon and Dong Nai rivers. His collaboration with Benoît Camenen (DR INRAE) has greatly enhanced our understanding of these important hydro-systems. We extend our sincere thanks to Louis for his hard work and dedication throughout his internship.
The seminar also featured three presentations by PFIEV students from HCMUT, covering the following topics:
- Designing and developing water supply systems,
- Sustainable management and use of groundwater resources, and
- Analyzing water quality in the Can Gio district.
These projects highlight the diverse and impactful research taking place at CARE, showcasing our commitment to addressing real-world water challenges and advancing sustainable solutions.
We warmly invite students, researchers, and partners to collaborate with us in driving innovation and fostering progress in water research.
