ION CHROMATOGRAPHY TECHNICAL TRAINING

On last May 7 and 8, 2024, with the support of IRD, CARE center invited specialists to conduct training for the following target audience: graduate students, graduate students, and undergraduate students. During the two-day training session, participants received guidance from the technicians on the following topics:
- Theory of ion chromatography, principles and structure of the device, and instructions for using clarity software to process spectra and analyze results
- Notes on operating the instrument and troubleshooting, and sample treatment
- Guidance on preparing washing solvents, activation solvents, chemicals and standard solutions for running
- Analytical method Cation & Anion: effluent, regeneration solution, chemical, standard solution preparation, samples treatment
Participants who pass the competency exam will be issued a certificate.
