CARE WELCOMING INTERN FROM THE NATIONAL SCHOOL OF STATISTICS AND ECONOMIC ADMINISTRATION IN PARIS

Ms Gabrielle Piketty, is a student at the National School of Statistics and Economic Administration in Paris (ENSAE Paris).
Ms Gabrielle Piketty starts to undertake in Vietnam an internship from 17 June 2024 to 9 August 2024. Under the frame of an internship agreement between IRD and ENSAE Paris, she will be supervised by Dr Sébastien Hardy (IRD) and Dr Ho Tuan Duc (CARE) to work on building a model capable of aggregating data from different scientific disciplines (geography, anthropology, hydrochemistry etc.) and data from organizations (statistics bureau, water distribution companies etc.) in order to identify the vulnerability of populations, assess the impact of natural and societal risks on the region's territories and population. The study to be carried out during this internship will contribute to the joint research activities within CARE.
