From June 17 to 20, 2025, CARE researchers participated in the 2nd Southeast Asia Environmental Systems (SEAES) Regional Workshop, held at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.
Organized by IRD in collaboration with Chulalongkorn University, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), SEI Asia - Stockholm Environment Institute, and the French Embassy in Thailand, the workshop gathered more than 130 participants from across Southeast Asia. Under the theme "Climate, Global Health, and Resources & Livelihoods in Aquatic Socio-Ecosystems", the event aimed to strengthen scientific collaboration and foster dialogue between research, policy, and society for sustainable development.
Representing CARE, Prof. Nguyen Phuoc Dan, Prof. Bui Xuan Thanh, Dr. Le Thi Minh Tam, Dr. Tran Anh Tu, Dr. Sébastien Hardy, Mr. Tran Ba Loc, Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Thao, and Mr. Tran Cong Sac presented their research on water and environmental systems, contributing to discussions on climate change, health, and resource management in aquatic socio-ecosystems.
Their participation highlighted CARE's active role in regional collaboration, promoting interdisciplinary research and reinforcing partnerships between Vietnam and other ASEAN countries.
