On December 05, 2025, CARE had the pleasure of welcoming French pianist Dana Ciocarlie, who was in Ho Chi Minh City for her concert tour "Au fil de l'eau, de la Loire au Mékong" in Vietnam.
During the visit, Dr. Christine Baduel, Scientific Director of CARE, introduced CARE's ongoing field activities and key research directions in water and environmental sciences.
In the scientific exchange session, Ms. Dana Ciocarlie and Dr. Frédéric Cazenave, Deputy Scientific Director of CARE, discussed research findings related to water quality in Vietnam and across Asia.
The artist also had the opportunity to directly observe water sampling, packaging, and quality assessment procedures on the Saigon River, under the guidance of Dr. Lê Thị Minh Tâm, CARE researcher.
CARE warmly thanks the Institut français du Vietnam and Ms. Dana Ciocarlie for this meaningful encounter, which beautifully illustrates the dialogue between science and art within the framework of Franco-Vietnamese cooperation.
