On January 11th, the Asian Water Research Center - CARE Rescif held a “SCIENTIFIC DAY 2019” with plenty of remarkable activities relevant to water quality and water treatment issue.
The progam took place from 8:45 to 16:30. After a welcome speech of Drs. Dan and Nicolas, many research projects were presented and discussed under direction of 2 chairman with two principal subjects, which are “Water contamination and water treatment” and “Water quality and coastal zone management”.
Beside that, CARE center also had some discussions with the partners about the cooperation between research organisations businesses and management units. Next activity was that CARE and VUCICO company had signed MOU for cooperation agreement. Ater that, CARE center honourably received a certification as the “International Joint Laboratory” of IRD (France) and JEAI (Plastic in the Aquatic environment: Sources, Transport, Ingestion and Contamination) project and it was awarded by A. Drogoul and V. Floreani.
Besides main activities, there were some interesting subjects like poster display and a small nice and warm party right at CARE center.
