For two insightful days (February 18-19, 2025), CARE (Center of Asian Research on watEr) successfully hosted the MULTISOURCE Stakeholder Engagement Workshop. The event brought together researchers, policymakers, and professionals to exchange expertise and share pilot experiences in integrating enhanced natural treatment solutions in urban water cycles.
We were honored to welcome our European and Vietnamese partners, including INRAE, ICRA, ICLEI Europe, IRIDRA, Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), Aarhus University, and many more, to foster discussions on sustainable urban water management.
Throughout the event, participants engaged in dynamic panel discussions, technical sessions, and interactive workshops that addressed topics such as:
This workshop was not only an opportunity to share expertise but also a platform to build bridges between research, policy, and practice. By fostering dialogue and collaboration, we are paving the way for more effective strategies to tackle current environmental and societal challenges, and to enhance urban water resilience in Vietnam and beyond.
As we move forward, the momentum built during this workshop will continue to drive impactful research, policy advancements, and real-world applications. We thank all our speakers, participants, and partners for their valuable contributions and look forward to future collaborations in shaping a greener, water-secure future for Vietnam and beyond.
