CARE Lab-HCMUT and PADDI, a member of the Ho Chi Minh City delegation, participated in the 26th Environment exhibition POLLUTEC, Lyon (France), which took place from 30/11 to 02/12/2016.
The stand of the CARE Lab, one of the stands of the Vietnam Pavilion, presented to visitors the environmental challenges of the HCMV metropolis and the Mekong Delta, for which appropriate solutions are being sought.
Pollutec is organized every two years. Each time, Pollutec reserves a place at the center of the show to a nation in the world, to present its environmental issues to international partners, as well as projects/opportunities of environmental technology transfer.
Pollutech this time, Vietnam was the country of the year, and its Vietnam Pavilion attracted a large number of visitors. Pollutec is the world's leading global environmental trade fair, facilitating the meeting of professionals around innovative solutions and new environmental themes.
Pollutec 2016 comprises 8 sectors: waste and recovery of the material; Water and wastewater; energy; Instrumentation, metrology, automation; Air; Risks; Sites and soils; Regional and international groups - institutions - research - financing - responsible purchasing. Key figures of the Salon Pollutec 2016: - 93,427 m² of exhibition space - 2,206 exhibitors, of which 28% were international - 60 646 visitors including 14% international - 162 innovations presented in preview - 490 conferences animated by nearly 976 speakers
