October 8 – 2015, CARE Laboratory organised short-term training course on trace metal measurements in aquatic environments with the guidance of Dr. Emilie Strady (CARE Lab. - HCMUT) Participants include: Staff of FENR-CARE (An, Tam and Vy), Ph.D. Candidate Nho (HCMUS), Ph.D. Candidate Viet (HCMUT) and Khanh (Staff of Environment and Resources Faculty) Course Content and Schedule are as follows:  October 8 - 2015 INTRODUCTION - What are trace metals ? - Historical overview of methodology ?  October 14 - 2015METHODOLOGY: Analyses - Dissolved phases - Particulate phases METHODOLOGY: Measurements - ICP-AES - ICP-MS  November 25, 26, 27, 30 – 2015 Training on trace metal analyses in the clean laboratory. Prepare some acid material cleaning, using the hot plate. December 1,2, 3, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22 – 2015 Clean some materials including tube (14 ml) and savillex  January 13, 14, 15 – 2016: PHU CUONG 13th - 2pm: discussion about the procedure + tubes, filter weigh 14th - 9am: digestion step(5hour) and evaporation step 15th - morning recovery step  January 18, 19 – 2016: HOA AN 18th - 9am until 3pm: digestion and evaporation steps 19th - morning recovery step  January 21, 22 – 2016: BACH DANG 21th - 9am until 3pm: digestion and evaporation steps 22th - morning: recovery step  January 26, 27 – 2016: BINH KHANH 26th - 9am until 3pm: digestion and evaporation steps 27th - morning: recovery step
