Introduction of MOOC project on basic GIS

MOOC (Massive open online course) project on basic GIS ("Introduction aux Systèmes d'Information Géographique")

This project is funded by the French speakingRESCIFnetwork of Universities. The goal of RESCIF is to provide young engineers and researchers in emerging countries with training on advanced technologies in different disciplines. Therefore, the French speaking MOOC we plan to develop comes within the scope of international cooperation with members of the RESCIF network. The members of MOOC project are: Switzerland (this is the host country of MOOC project), Senegal and Vietnam. Project duration is from 2014 to 2016. Budget of MOOC project is: 128,000 CHF.
