Geophysics provides several tools to study the sub-surface without any drilling, measuring soil physical parameters at the surface. After 2018's edition (dedicated to Electrical Tomography), the second hydrogeophysics training school proposes an intensive course focusing on two geophysical methods applied to hydrological and hydrogeological problems in the surrounding of HCM: Magnetic Resonance Sounding method (MRS) and Time Domain ElectroMagnetic method (TDEM). While electrical resistivity is one of the most appropriate parameters for clayey layer detection, MRS is highly efficient to provide quantitative information on groundwater quantity and hydrodynamic parameters of the subsurface.
